Prayer Group: Please join us at the "Honest to God" Prayer Group as it continues on Wednesday, September 3. We will be focusing on deepening our intimacy with our Lord through praise, scripture reading, and corporate prayer as we strive to be doers of the Word. Our prayer is that the Gospel will fall more deeply in the Body and that we would have true, experiential knowledge of the "hidden treasure" that is the Kingdom of Heaven (Mt 13:44). Newcomers Dinner: For those of you who started coming to Vision in the last three months, please join us for a newcomers dinner at Bridget and Steve Ko's place on Tuesday, September 9th at 7:30pm. Free food and a chance to meet other Visionites and learn more about our church. If you have any questions or would like to come, sign up at the welcome center or email Bridget or Debbie.
Bread & Water: There will be an information session for those interested in volunteering with the charity, Bread&Water, on Tuesday, September 9th, at 7:00PM at OCM: 154 Hester St., Room 702. Dinner will be provided, so please contact Carol Liu if you are interested in attending.
Hiking Trip! Join your fellow Visionites on a hiking trip on Saturday, September 13! We'll be going to hiking and having a BBQ afterwards at Jess Soo's parents' place in Nyack, NY. Sign ups at the welcome center. Please let us know if you can drive!
Married & Engaged Couples: Family Life "Weekend to Remember" Marriage Conference (9/26-9/28). Group Discount available if we have 5 or more couples registered. Our annual retreat is coming up and we'd like for you to come away with us for a weekend of fellowship and spiritual learning from Friday, Oct. 10th - Monday, Oct. 13th. For many in our community, this is especially a great time to meet and bond with the very people you worship with on Sundays. Registration starts next week! Father's Heart: Community Impact will be partnering with Father's Heart (543 E 11th St, btw Ave A & Ave B) the 2nd saturday of every month .
