Our mission statement: To build a culturally sensitive and spiritually dynamic urban church that would impact our community and city culturally, socially, economically and spiritually with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
As a church of Jesus Christ, we affirm that:
- There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- Christ Jesus, who is true God and true human, came to earth to die on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice and arose from the dead.
- The Holy Spirit is a divine person, sent to dwell, guide, teach and empower the believer, and convince the world of sin and righteousness.
- The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given, were inspired by God and are the infallible and authoritative Word of God.
- All human beings are sinful and can experience forgiveness from and reconciliation with God through personal faith in Jesus Christ.
- The church consists of all those who believe in Jesus Christ, and its local congregation comes together for worship, fellowship and the proclamation of the gospel.
- Jesus Christ, whose return is imminent, personal and visible, will come again to establish His kingdom over all creation.
