Christian Education: Yuppie Christianity: Our models for faith tend to create a two-class system: full time ministers (usually lower to mid level income) and everyone else-a.k.a. the good guy models of the faith and the rest who can give money to support the heroes of the faith. But there is another more inclusive model that starts with Jesus: incarnational—taking on the culture, times, place and yet missional. We will look at the calling we have as yuppies and to yuppies and try to reconcile the challenges, possibilities, pitfalls and delusions of faith in a yuppie context. Father’s Heart: Community Impact will be partnering with Father’s Heart (543 E 11th St, btw Ave A & Ave B) the 2nd Saturday of every month .
